On this Father's Day, I was
fortunate enough to have my father (and mother) visiting this weekend. On Saturday we dodged the "pop up thunderstorms" and headed over to the
Hillwood Estates,
Museum and Gardens in Northwest DC.
Hillwood was the home of
Majorie Merriweather Post. This first photo is from the
Japanese Gardens.

There are many cool statues through out the grounds. This one is on the Vista Terrace.

This is shot of the m
ansion from the lunar lawn. The
Mansion/
Museum which houses very impressive collection,
unfortunately you need to check you camera at the front door.
And of course the gardens have some great flowers.

More photo's from my
Hillwood gardens tour later today. Happy Father's Day!
