Where I Drank In Asheville NC

Asheville has been called "Napa Valley of Beer" and "Beer Town USA" with over 20 breweries in city, it is second only to Bend Oregon of most breweries per Capita.   Here's where I drank in my first (and yes I will return) visit to Asheville this past weekend.

Catawba Brewing Company, in South Slope area next to Buxton Hall (which has Asheville's best Barbecue)

New Belgium Brewing (makers of Fat Tire and Voodoo Ranger IPA) near the River

Wicked Weed's Funkatorium (Sour & Funky Beers served in cool pub)

Wicked Weed (A must stop, one of Asheville's top Brewery's featuring West Coast Style IPA)

Wedge Brewing (Artsy Brewery in River Arts District)

Burial Beer (You may have to wait in line or beer, but worth the wait)  in South Slope area

Ben's Tune Up (Beer Garden featuring Sake Beers & Japanese-American fusion eats) also in South Slop area
