I met up with a friend in New York City this weekend. Spent 26 hours
eating, drinking, and taking in a few sights.. These two photo's are from an overlook on 10
th Avenue part of the new "High Line" which is a city park that open in mid June in the Meatpacking District. It's a elevated walkway, next to old train tracks that use to be part of an elevated train line in the 1930's.

Check out the bee on the sun flower part of the plants growing along the High Line.

A cool building in the Meatpacking District seen from the High Line.

People walking along the High Line. On the left (can't see in the photo) is the Hudson River!

The High Line have
lounge benches where people can take it easy, as this couple was doing on Saturday afternoon.

Part # 2 tomorrow includes photo's from a early Bastille Day Street Festival and people enjoying my a really nice Sunday in Central Park.
