I really never noticed this statue before in front of the US Capitol. But I love the female statue covering her face. Is it saying, what are those guys (and gals) doing in there?
The birds were loving the weather in the Reflecting Pool. Little did they know, there is a proposal to get rid of the Reflecting Pool with another "water like structure" I think the birds would be against the plan. Temperatures were in the low 70's on Saturday, which inspired this trip down the the Mall.
