Hyattsville Arts Festival

A nice afternoon for Arts Festival.. This one was in Hyattsville, which is trying to building a "arts district" and has added a lot of nice new places to eat on Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue) in the past year or two.

"They Put Up a Parking Lot" Exhibit @ Artisphere in Arlington

There's any exhibit currently on display in Rosslyn (at Artisphere)  inspired by the Joni Mitchel/Counting Crow (covered) "Big Yellow Taxi"...  The real name of the exhibit Beyond the Parking Lot:  The Change and Re-assessment of our Modern Landscape.   Here's a sample...

H Street Festival 2012

Big crowds, great weather, lots of food and entertainment at this year's H Street Festival in Northeast DC on Saturday!

Camden Yards after the Storm...

The storms weren't as severe up in Baltimore, as they were down here in the DMV.   This was shot in the second inning of the Yanks-O's game..  The Yanks lost, and now are tied with the O's (again) for first place in the AL East.   It's going to be in interesting couple of weeks for Yanks and O's fans!

Mount Hood & Lost Lake, Oregon

I'm back in the DMV, after five amazing days in Oregon.  These photos are my favorite.   The first three are from Lost Lake.. a place where cell phones don't work but who needs it when you have a lake with this amazing view of Mount Hood.  The other four photos are from about 6,000 feet up near Ski Lodge.   Tomorrow night I will post some more photos from Portland, and then it will back to taking pictures closer to DMV.  Can't wait for my next trip (where ever that is).
