8 Hours in New York City

Kicked off the Memorial Day Weekend with a day trip to New York City with a friend.   Spent the afternoon in South Street Seaport, Soho, and Flatiron District.   There were a lot of other people spending the day in the big apple!

This is the famous "Golden Knights" the U.S. Army Parachute Team

The weather was great for the 2011 Joint Service Andrews Air Show. This was my first trip to the air show, and I was not disappointed. Tomorrow I will post some "people shots" from the Air Show. And for those of you in the DC area, the show continues tomorrow!

These cabs are in waiting around the corner from the Main Terminal (B & C) at Reagan National Airport.   Most passengers never see this!

This guy acts as a "conductor" telling the cabs when to make the turn to pick up passengers in need of  a ride

There is a lot of waiting around before they go around the corner to make the "pick up"
