Summer Saturday: Beach and Beer!

A perfect Saturday!  Spent the day at Breezy Point Beach (Calvert County) and evening at Denizens Brewing Company (the first brewery in Silver Spring).   Beach and Beer a great combo!

Folklife Festival Final Days....

Yesterday before the fireworks, I checked out this years folk life Festival.   China and Kenya are the two countries that are spotlighted...  If you want to learn more about those two countries (the music and food are both awesome) head down to the mall this weekend.

Preakness 2014

A little delayed in getting these photo up, but this is from last Saturday at Pimlico.   Preakness 2014!  The last photo were some very cool fans watching the band Switchfoot in the in-field.    A great day at Preakness, and now all eyes on New York in two weeks to see if that horse from West Coast can make history on the East Coast as a rare triple crown winner.
