VA Beach & Norfolk Trip!

Spent a few days last week in VA Beach and Norfolk.   Most of the time was chilling near the beach, but also got a few "tourist spots" in including the dual Cape Henry Lighthouse on the military base of Fort Henry, Douglas MacArthur Memorial Museum in downtown Norfolk, and baseball game of the AAA Norfolk Tides.

Weekend Trip to Pittsburgh

Spent the little under 24 hours in Pittsburgh this weekend.   This was my second visit there, and there was a lot to photograph!   Below is some of the highlights.

Statue of Pittsburgh's own Mr Rogers hanging near the river...

This was and old building for the Pennsylvania Union Train Station, now it's luxury apartments.   It's also a popular place for weddings.

Tomorrow I will post some cool photos from Carnegie Mellon University.

Chincoteague Summer Vacation

Spent a few days in Chincoteague Island, VA.   If you haven't been, it's a very perseved small town on the Eastern Shore.  It's less than 3 1/2 hour drive from DC.   The fireworks were from the 4th.

Lexington Market in Baltimore

Last night I was in Baltimore for the Yanks-O's Game.   The game turned out to be the low point of the day after my Yanks got embarrassed by the O's.    Earlier in the day I checked out the World Famous Lexington Market and had some great award winning jumbo crab cakes.  If you love food and love having lots of choices, you must check out Lexington Market the next time you are in Charm City.
