Baltimore's Artscape 2012
Dubbed the "Largest Free Outdoor Arts festival in the country" Artscape 2012 wrapped up today in Baltimore. It was an awesome event, with lots of free things to see (and photograph) and it was very crowded as the afternoon went on. I highly recommend you checking it out next summer...

One Reason I love my iPhone 4S
A couple months ago I upgrade from 3G TO 4S, and I haven't been able to stop taking photos since. The 3G camera wasn't great, but I am impressed with the quality on the 4S. So today I was bummed that it was a rainy day, and I didn't want to take a photos with my Canon Rebel XSI. Then I pulled up next to the above sunflowers with a cool backdrop (in Takoma Park, MD), and a photograph and new blog posting was created on a rainy day!!! The below photo is from inside my car, kind artsy right?

It's called "Megaton Matrix" and with created by Korean American Artist Nam June Paik. It's on the 2nd floor of the American Art Museum (across from the Verizon Center) outside the entrance to the exhibit "The Art of Video Games".
Tomorrow I will bring you some photo highlights from the "Art of the Video Games" if you older than 35, this exhibit will make you feel old!

Sunset and Fireworks on final night in Chincoteague
Back to DC tomorrow, below was the last sunset for the vacation.. and then later in the evening there was the town's 4th of July fireworks display on the 7th (part of the carnival going on last night and tonight)...
Pre town fireworks display we believe by a local hotel...
And this was the actual town fireworks display... I was a few blocks away so I had to include the spectators in my photographs.

Vacation: Day 2, Chincoteague & Assateague Island
Yellow flag (and very hot) day at Assateague Island, VA... This pristine and no boardwalk beach was packed the day after the 4th of July.
Cranes and geese also on the Island, very close to the beach and ocean.
The sunset sets haven't been great with the haze and cloud cover, but I still liked this shot..
