One great thing about living in the Washington DC area, is whenever you feel like taking in a little "art" you have dozens of museums to choose from. This afternoon I headed down to American Art Museum & National Portrait Gallery (across from the Verizon Center). There was plenty of cool sculptures to photograph. There are also two great photography exhibits going on right now. "Pilgrimage" by my favorite living photographer Annie Leibovitz (American Art Museum) and "The Black List" photographs by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders (Portrait Gallery).
The last statue may look familiar.. It's the "Adams Memorial" by Augustus Saint-Gaudens located in Rock Creek Cemetery. Check out photographs I shot this past fall of the original memorial.

Sunday @ National Shrine in Northeast DC
This marks my return to my blog after more than five weeks of not taking any new photographs! Been a little busy with a new job, but I am back and will be updating more! Thanks for checking out the new photos taken this afternoon at the Basilica of the National Shine of the Immaculate Conception. The Shrine the largest catholic church in North America, and on the top 10 list in world!
