"Full Color" Weekend in Connecticut

According to the local weather forecasters, this was the last weekend of "full color" for the fall foliage in Connecticut. These photographs were taken in Beacon Falls and Shelton on Saturday.

Today I visited what is said to be the oldest town in West Virginia, Sheperdstown. Just like last week in Connecticut, the leaves were just beginning to turn. However my favorite photographs were my new friend that I met (the below cat) on my way back to my car. This cat was very camera friendly!

The leaves were just beginning to turn yesterday in Naugutuck, Connecticut. The first settlers date by to the early 1700's. Naugutuck is in the Valley along the Connecticut River.
