Finally Spring Like Weather! DC Sunday Afternoon
Finally had some warm temps today, which made for a good day to check out the sights downtown. The cherry blossom's haven't bloomed yet at the Tidal Basin, but as you can see from above that didn't stop the masses from hanging out on the Jefferson Memorial steps and walking around the basin. The best trees for photos (above) were near the Starbucks at 7th and Penn NW.

Outdoor Sculptures at The Kreeger Museum, Washington DC
The Kreeger Museum is one of those Washington DC "out of the way" museums but worth trip, located on Foxhall Road down the road from American University in Upper Northwest DC. You need a reservation Tuesday thru Thursday, but Friday & Saturday you can just show up, pay your 10 dollars and see these very cool former house of the late David Kreeger and his wife Carmen, who were major patrons of the arts in Washington DC. The house was designed by famed architect Phillip Johnson. The photographs are of the outdoor sculptures and public art exhibits including one on a decaying tennis court.
