Annemarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center is very cool places to visit in Calvert County, Maryland (about and hour and half from Washington DC). It includes a walking tour with lots of sculptures (some on loan from the Smithsonian in DC) and this summer thru September 25th, they have a special exhibit called "Fairies in the Garden" in the memory of local artist who apparently was a big contributor to Annemarie center.
